About the Program

The Program is designed for the student to develop a comprehensive understanding of Communication and the Visual Medium of Communication. The Program emphasizes the visual medium – Film. The Program consists of subjects that equip the students with the skill sets that are required to excel in the film industry from concept to completion.

During the course, the students will be involved in practical projects that will help build their portfolio by having hands-on training experiences and producing film projects. The main focus of this course will be Filmmaking, and the students will have to complete and produce a professional-level short film by the end of the Program.

Program Objectives

  • Students will know the basics of how communication has evolved over the period and understand the models and structure of communication as a whole.
  • Students will learn about the various types of media in today’s world.
  • Students will understand the various segments in the filmmaking process, from preproduction to production and post-production, including the development process and marketing.
